LanShan Sàrl is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Scope

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit lanshan.ch, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. It applies to this website only.

3. What data we collect

We collect personal data in one way: when you voluntarily submit our contact form. This typically includes your name, email address, and the content of your message.

We do not run e-commerce, user accounts, or a CRM system, and we do not collect payment information.

Beyond the contact form, this site runs on the Wix platform, which places a small number of strictly necessary technical cookies needed for the site to function (for example, load-balancing and security). At the time of writing, this site does not use analytics cookies, marketing or advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels, and no cookie-consent banner is shown because none is currently required. If that changes — for example, if analytics are added later — this policy and the site's cookie tools will be updated accordingly.

4. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use the data you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to keep a record of our correspondence.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/revFADP), we process this data on the basis of your voluntary submission and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

For visitors located in the EU/EEA — and purely as a matter of good practice, since LanShan Sàrl is a Swiss company with no establishment in the EU — we treat the legal basis as equivalent to GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (consent, given by submitting the form) and Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding).

5. Who we share it with

Your contact-form submission is stored in our Wix account (Wix.com Ltd / Wix.com, Inc., acting as our website and forms processor) and is also forwarded by email to lan@lanshan.ch so we can respond promptly.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party, and we do not use it for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.

Because Wix operates international infrastructure, your data may be processed on servers located outside Switzerland. Wix's own privacy and data-processing terms, available at wix.com/about/privacy, govern that processing.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your contact-form submission in our Wix Inbox for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to you and for our own record-keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. To request deletion, email lan@lanshan.ch.

7. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have the right to:

ask whether we hold personal data about you, and to access it;

ask us to correct inaccurate data;

ask us to delete your data;

object to our processing of your data.

Visitors in the EU/EEA have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in their own country.

8. Security

We rely on the technical and organisational security measures provided by the Wix platform to protect the data you share with us. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add new features (such as the online booking calendar planned for a later phase) or new tracking tools. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
